Hi Catherine It's a love story - we adore Perci and she seems to adore us. She is right behind me or sitting on my feet all the time! We appear to have been really lucky with house-training - right from the first day she preferred to go in the garden and as long as we take her out every couple of hours she's been wonderful and there's only been a couple of accidents inside. I've been gradually reducing the number of times I take her out at night and last night took her just once and she still remained dry all night. She doesn't mind the car or her car carrier and harness at all and has been out a few times, but we have left her home a
couple of times for an hour just so she can get used to being alone sometimes. She's still sleeping a lot and despite her own bed, prefers to sleep at my feet under the office desk when I'm working! Thank you so much - she is such a gorgeous girl and has a really lovely, fun temperament. I've attached a couple of pictures so you can see how she's getting on - hope you like them. All the best Vicki
Hi Cat, I hope you're enjoying your long-awaited holiday...!
I just wanted to say thanks for the advice in feeding - Mouse is doing really well on the raw food now (Natures menu, country hunter) after a tricky adjustment period - he needs a lot more food than the feeding guide to maintain he weight - but he is now looking amazing on it & got loads of compliments on his coat (& behaviour)at the Boston terrier meet up, which was nice!
Hi Cat, Lily Rose, post first puppy cut, loving her Park and ball. She is such a little pleasure and top of her puppy class!
I hope you're well. I thought I'd drop you a quick note to let you know how little Charlie is getting along. I've also attached a few pictures.
He's certainly not so little any more. He's growing into a very handsome young man and he really is everything I could have hoped for in a puppy. He's got a great temperament, he's wonderful with other dogs and he is very happy with other people. I've had to go away on a number of business trips and he's always been quite happy to stay with my friends and the pet sitter when I'm gone... thankfully he always seems pleased to see me when I'm back!
Oh and he is very tall for a Boston - he looks like he could almost be a mini-Boxer. so he's pretty good at racing around the park!
Just thought you'd like to know that he's doing really well, he seems really happy and whatever it is you do when you raise these little pups its working perfectly... The only problem I have is that I only have one Boston and I'm beginning to think a little Brother or Sister could be a wonderful addition to our household. I think I'll wait a while but I will certainly contact you when the time comes.
just wanted to say thanks so much and to let you know that Ozzie slept on my lap nearly all the way to Bristol with no pee, poo or sick bless him he took it all in his stride and was very chilled!
He had a good sniff around when we arrived home then went crazy with the children and I would say that he is pretty settled already!!!! He is so funny with quite a little spirit and I have certainly done nothing today, what a time waster he is!!!!! I did bath him, which again, he wasn't bothered by and seemed to take all in his
stride! He slept right through till 4am, whined for 5 mins then stopped and was very pleased to see mark at 6am,!!! He has pretty much pooed and peed every
time I have taken him out in the garden. What a good boy, he is
adorable. Will Send you some photos in a couple of months and let you know how he is doing.Thank you again
Hi Cat She has settled in beautifully and seems very happy. We took her to the vets today and they said she was perfectly healthy. We have decided to call
her ...Pickle :-) She's 10 weeks old today and such a lovely pup!! We adore her. Thankyou so much!
Ralph (aka teddy) is doing very well thanks. He has grown into a lovely boy : ) he is great fun, smart and gentle. We couldn't have wished for better and we love him lots. So thank you : )
Charlie is doing incredibly well. Everyone is telling me what a beautiful puppy he is. He's being an absolute star. He goes to daycare quite regularly and so he's becoming socialised with other dogs and is not afraid or concerned about meeting them at all. He's also great with people and is pretty well behaved. He's learning all the time (house training is coming along very well thankfully!) and I think I've been very lucky with him as so many people have told me how well behaved he is for a puppy. He's traveled in the car a lot, been on trains, buses and even the tube and taken it all in his stride. He's also spent 9 days with a great petsitter I know whilst I was on holiday and it didn't worry him at all. So he really is a great little puppy. He's very healthy and happy and enjoying being a puppy... and he's growing like crazy... I think he's going to take after his Dad when it comes to size!
In fact, my pet sitter thinks he's such a fantastic puppy that he's asked me where I got him from. I told him I would get in touch with you. Are you planning another litter at any point with the same parents? If so could I pass you details to my pet sitter? Hope you're well and all the pups your bringing into the world.
Hi Cat, I know it's been a while, but I did promise we would send you an update on how Bentley was doing. He has settled in well and absolutely loves a large Labrador, Glover, they are like brothers!! He also has Sammy, our 6 month old kitten and they are non stop play, forever chasing each other. Our horse isn't keen on him after Bentley bit his nose!!! he now backs off if we hold him up to say hello.everyone loves him, and is curious to know what he is, nobody as yet has ever seen his breed before. The bond he has with my daughter is lovely, he adores her and loves his cuddles with her!!
Hi cat, here are a few pics of milo, he's settling in really well, a few little toilet training accidents but nothing to much and he's really good at sleeping at nite, thanks again
Hi Cat puppy has settled in really well she is eating well and playing with the little boy and she is very full of her self and is not taking any prisoners i thought she might be overwelmed but not a bit of it and she bats him round the head with her feet and hangs onto his ear and they love playing racing mini pin through the house which they both seem to love she doing very well at doing her wee in the garden . She does hate going in her crate when I need to go and
do the horses its only an hour but its just too cold for her to come into the yard even with two coats on ,i leave her with the old JR for company .we have
called her Millymoo, at the moment she helping to type this email!!
Hi Cat, just wanted to say thank you so much for 'Jim' he is an absolutely lovely dog, so well behaved , i cant quite believe that the little man has just slotted into
our crazy family so well. The children absolutely love him and he loves them all especially my eldest who he was brought for. Everyone thinks he is amazing.
Thank you for obviously starting his days so lovingly
Hi Catherine Sorry for not being in touch sooner but I just wanted to let you know that Minnie has settled in brilliantly and already feels like part of our family. No crying on the first night or any night since, eating well, doing well with house training, and enjoying the garden. You've done a great job at raising a confident, affectionate and well-adjusted little dog. Her character and intelligence are shining through and she has been so good with the boys (and vice versa) from the off. I guess the rest will be down to us now. So thank you so much for giving us little Minnie
